doesnt have the clocks of a 9800gtx.. don't think it had the cooling to do so efficiently..

its got 8800gts clocks... and if i remember correctly.. didn the 9800gtx also have better clocking ram

9800gtx = 675/2200 clocks
9800gx2 = 575/2000 or something like that

The 9800GTX came after.

The 9800GX2 has dual G92 cores, with lower clocks...you just need to oc it.

I like how of recent Ati have slapped Nvidia oh so hard. I'm not being fanboyish as up till two days ago I had an amazing Nvidia card called the 8600GT. Anyway if the 4830 does out perform the 8800GTS thats pretty incredible consdiering over here the 4830 is £90ish and the 8800GTS is around the £130 mark.

4830 is new, 8800GTS is old.

newer cards are always outperforming the older cards and are lower priced, since theyre cheaper to make and rolled out in full production.

gtx280 > 4870 bigtime...

Lol maybe I exagerated I know the GTS is an older card but I don't seem to understand why it's in the same price range as the 4850 over here...
