well, as some of you may know from the hardware trouble shooting section

I get these weird "garbage" in the post screen in my current board

so I am trying to get a new board, want some opinions, between the 2 below
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

about same price after MIR
was suppose to grab a P5Q deluxe but seller backed out for no apparent reason

case wise- I almost ordered the PC-K7B last night..... until I caught a whiff of the Antec P183

Id go with the gigabyte better quality and service from past and current experience.

Personally, I'd go with the ASUS. We've dealt with that series of board plenty of times with no complaint. Gigabyte is still a good brand, but I've had better luck with ASUS.

i have had nothing but success with asus motherboards.
that stinks about the deluxe...i have had better OC results with it over the pro i had.
