Well the thing is, my friend heard that i am building a computer so he wants me to build him one too. He is rich and he wants the best of the best. He has an 8k budget. He wants speakers and a monitor as well. Can u guys please help cause i dont know what to choose.

I also get 300 bucks for building it. $$$$$$ $$$$

get the Nvidia 6800
a nice 21" CRT monitor
don't know much about mobo's, but DFI and Abit are good for OC'ing
Get some really expensive SCSI HD's and put them in RAID0

yea scsi hds, good choice, i dont usually recommedn them cuz they $$, hehe. as of the dfi, they are for athlon xps mostly. for a 64 bit athlon, get an asus. the proc get a fx 53. 6800 ultra for gfx. 2 gig xms ram.. hmm 21 crt if he got space, or a flat then

Get the GeForce 6800 Ultra Extreme Edition, AMD FX-53, one of those Raptor SCSI hard drives, 21" flat CRT (preferably Sony), ahh, I wish I was in his place...

personally I wouldn'get a LCD, but I would get 4gig of XMS and I heard Abit's are better in OC'ing than Asus

also get the new Logitech laser mouse
