Extra's

You got your case, motherboard, processor, graphics card, memory, dvd, and other basics.

If you have the budget and want some "extra's," what would they be?

if your a lights freak, some led's or uv lights

if you need more cooling, added fans.

speakers, sound card or software is the only other things i can think of
oh, forgot gaming controler, but i find the keyboard works fine for me.

G15 if you can spare the arm and a leg as well as a pancreas for it. get a side panel window and some cold cathodes to light it up! 120mm fans are nice to have to cool things down. and always some killer games to play on that rig you just built.

Get an Xbox 360 controller for windows, quite cheap and are great to use with driving and sports games etc.

Also get a CPU HSF to allow you to do some overclocking :)

Solid state drive for OS. Blue Ray. Water Cooling. Dual Monitors. Studio Speakers. And a color coordinated mouse pad.

Cooling equipment. Fans + a Controller is nice. Keeps things quiet when not in use, keeps it cool when needed.

Make sure all drives are SATA, makes for a 'cleaner' interior.

Coordinated lighting is always a nice touch too.

sound card or better cpu cooling

I still haven't purchased better cpu cooling. Neweeg has two choices and one is not in stock.

I changed a few things at order time and went with:

- ASUS P6T Deluxe LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
- Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor
- ASUS EAH4870 DK/HTDI/1GD5 Radeon HD 4870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card

(Went ASUS as opposed to EVGA)
