Based on my specs...

Which monitor would be best for me? Looking to buy asap with my christmas money . I would like to use it for gaming and I don't plan on upgrading my video card frequently... Maybe in 2-3 years ill upgrade again so try to keep that in mind

I got a q6600 OC'd to 3.0 Ghz, HD 4870 512mb, 2gb Crucial Ballistix ram (2 sided).

I don't think so.. current games except Crysis and GTA IV...

Future games maybe.. if its not overdemanding like those games are ^^

You could play Medium-High/Medium, which is not bad...

i would go for the 1gb if you plan on running a 1920 x 1200 24" monitor. the extra ram will help.

oh my bad. yeah i think you will run a 24" fine still. no one can run crysis lol i dont even know why we use it as an example. we should have an included clause that states that when we say "you can run any game with that" it automatically means "except crysis".
