Thank You for your help and opinions

i would save a few hundred and get the 920 i7 instead of the 940 i7

then put that money to good use and get a gtx 280 or ati 4870x2

since you said it was for gaming.

also, you should prolly get a better case than that one.

coolmaster 690
antec 900
antec 1200 (this one is really nice)
i have seen all 3 of those first hand, and they all look like nice cases with good airflow.
and others i cant think of offhand.
i am not a case pro, so others may help you out on that much better than i can.

also, if you can stretch it, go with the evga x58 motherboard, its a lil more, but i hear its a really nice board
Newegg.com - EVGA 132-BL-E758-A1 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

also, save some on the memory, by getting better sticks ;)
Newegg.com - G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory
(if im wrong here, somebody will correct me :))

none that i can think of atm.

cant help you out with speakers, im fine with plain ol onboard audio + cheap $20 speakers for my needs (i got bad hearing anyways lol)

you can overclock your i7 920 to 3.0ghz fairly easy (and even higher with little effort) if you were worried about chip speed.
