Hey everyone, I'm looking to spend up to $310 on a 24" (possibly bigger) lcd widescreen monitor. I will use it primarly for gaming at the max res it offers.
I have it narrowed down to the following -
SAMSUNG 2433BW High Glossy Black 24" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 20000:1(1000:1) - Retail $294.99
ASUS VW246H Black 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1 (ASCR 20000:1) Built in Speakers - Retail $289.99
and this one I was considering saving the money up for if it is thought worth while.
Hanns·G HG-281DPB Black 28" 3ms Widescreen LCD HDMI Monitor 500 cd/m2 800:1 Built in Speakers - Retail $349.99
The Asus looks to have the better specs but I've heard great things about the Samsung. The Asus has 2ms timing over the Samsung's 5ms. Will I notice the timing difference while gaming?
Also with having the 4870's in xfire should I consider going bigger than the 24" like the 28" I have listed above? Will I gain anything from it? I don't watch movies just game...
The most important thing to me is a great bright picture with no bleeding or ghosting... Any advice on this would be great..
