I'm a production planner, former sys admin (Unix AIX), weekend warrior blues musician, modest home recording studio enthusiast, avid fisherman, proud father of 4 yr old girl, happily married, Oakland Raider, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks fan.
First PC was AppleIIC (amazing what could be done with 128k!). Been through a number of systems from 386 33 running Win 3.1, to my current 'build-your-own" Athlon XP1700 running XP home ed.
Love to tinker (when I have time), keep all my old puter parts, but I don't consider myself an expert by any means. Know a lot about some things, very little about others...which is why I'm here...to learn, share my enthusiasm for technology, and try to be helpful where and when I can.
