Yeah, I tried both, still noting. Nope, lol, I live in a really small town... there is no ddr3 here. I'll have to order some.

Can you RMA both? or would is that too much hassle if its just one..

I did reset the cmos, same thing..

you could pick up some cheap-o ram from newegg to try before rma'ing any thing.

ram should be seated to the slots farthest from the cpu... have you tried that yet??

it WILL NOT boot if it is in the slots closests to the cpu (i tihnk thats how it went.. i'm not home so i dunno)

that's odd. usually it's paired up in slots.

i meant all the white slots...

you should be occupying the tri channel farthest from the cpu (so the white slots..)

i had mine in the blue slots at first and wouldnt boot.. i nearly crapped myself

manual told me to put them in 0 and 2, which are closest to the cpu

do you have a tri channel or dual channel kit?

what is the rated stock voltage on your ram...

it may HAVE to be 1.55-1.6v.. otherwise it may not boot

thats exactly the problem i was trying to state

i had that problem with some ocz titanium's needing 2.1v on a 680i that neeed 1.8 to boot

the board may not boot with anything higher than 1.65 or so volts
