A few days ago I booted up windows and got a bios temperature reading similar to the idle reading in realtemp but different from speedfan, hwmonitor, and coretemp. When I booted up this morning the bios said that the temperature for the cpu was 24C. However, when I checked the temperature in realtemp I got 34C as a result, with speedfan coming in at 44C and Realtemp reading 39C. I just updated the bios and am having the same problem. Any ideas as to how to fix this issue? I really want to overclock but don't want to be clueless as to how hot my processor is getting. It seems like the idle temperature is the same in each individual program no matter the ambient temperature in my room. Each program has been displaying the same idle and load temperatures no matter what temperature it is in my house.

I have the GA-EP35-DS3L mobo.

I assume you are checking the BIOS temperature of the CPU in the BIOS before the OS loads up. It's natural for the CPU to heat up a bit once the OS has booted.
