DVD burners

afternoon,

Just looking around for a reliable DVD burner. The last couple that I've bought quit reading and burning DVD formats. they would read and burn regular CD's fine. I could understand if I was burning 5 things a day for 3 months straight, but I would only burn maybe 20 DVD's and 20 CD's, then they would quit working.

Lite-on is the last brand I bought that did this. and I can't remember the other one.

If you are continually getting the same sort of problems with different dvd burners it may actually be your computer that is the problem and not the drives.

Saying that I have had the same ASUS dvd burner for around 4 years now, and it still works perfectly. You could also try SONY.

Well, if you want the absolute best, that will last long, though it be expensive, go with plextor.

other wise go with samsung or lite on.
