Another nacked box...

Alright guys.
I'v got a box here that's beyond me...
It is P3 board (packard bell put it together)
The'res apparently "nothing happening" , and upon closer inspection there isn't

I'v wipped out the PSU and switched it for another (same spec). Now upon power from the PSU to the board I get the heatsink fan give about 0.5secs power and the board power lights shows up for about the same duration of time. (the fan in the PSU also spins in this time)

No beeps or anything.
Nothing is hooked up besides the power to the fan.

Any ideas?

Check RAM, otherwise I'd say bad board.

I agree as well. with the age of the board it could very likely be bad.

one way to test is take out ALL ram and try a boot. if the speaker doesnt beep at you with a bios warning then it isnt running the POST test . ie bad board. that usually works
