how do you clean an lcd?

i cant find the notebook care guide i got with my laptop, but i have a couple of spots on my screen . . .

how do i go about cleaning it?

o well its nothing special, a clean rag, dampened rag, either/or...

You don't want to use water. You can buy special cleaning rags for LCD's. If you don't want to risk ruining your LCD spend a few dollars and get some special cleaning rags from a local computer store.

ThirtySixBelow is correct. The best thing to do is get some LCD Wipes.
