amd 754 pin or 939?

I rebuild a new system from scratch every nine to twelve months or so anyway, so the 754 was well worth it in my case.

Save for the 939 if you don't have the budget to upgrade often.

I agree that waiting it out is the best course of action. It'd really suck if you bought a new peice of tech only to have it have a flaw no one realised it had, or have it become obsolete from a competing peice of tech.

alright the 939 it is prolly then. But y did the 3500 go up so much, wasnt it mes less b4? il just get my upgrade towards xmas, to get in some new other stuff. If my 9700 pro still good? what would be better getting new 1 gig xms ram or a 6800 or sumthing?

if you want it to be more upgradable, get the socket 939 as socket 754 will not be here for long

if you want to wait you can get a board with PCI-Express (when Nforce4 chipsets come out to support it) and by then the 3500+ will be less expensive
