Why not just use Firefox?
Did you update through Windows Update?

IE7 with Vista SP1. Do you have all the updates? Did you see the news that all versions of IE have a critical flaw and that Microsoft is working on a fix?

Could be that flaw that is affecting you right now. The AppCrash data doesnt give us any info on why it crashed. Just that it was the program that crashed.

Check your even viewer. Start>Run>eventvwr.msc
