Im about to buy a ATI 4870 512mb... but im wondering if my 600W PSU will be enough it has x2 PCI-E but im wondering if it will be way enough power to run the card?

And can someone tell me the difference between these two cards?

Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100259L Radeon HD 4870 512MB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Well I sure hope so since I just bought one and have a 600w PSU :)

But really whats the model of your psu. As long as its a quality psu it should be fine.

Phew, thanks for the PSU info guys.. and also thanks for the suggestion on card... thats what i ordered this morning... i heard it cooled better then the other 4870's hopefully i'll be pleased.

The types of coolers are the difference, go with the black one (the non-reference cooler will OC better and run cooler)

and your PSU is more than sufficient
