4870 ok for 1920 x 1200?

im pretty comfy with the 4870x2. The new drivers are good. No pointless driver failures for no reason anymore. Can max all games Including Crysis at 1920x1200.

Doesn't really matter though. The lines between ati and nvidia have been blurred again. ATM i'd still go 4870x2 > all, but the gtx 260-216 are good cards, as well as the 4870.

I'm so ****ed at myself for not getting that 280 when it was on sale!!! I woke up today and said screw it and I was going to go ahead and spend the extra. Come to work, pull up the link and now it's $391 again!!!! ****!

where do these guys come up with these benchmark numbers?
my 4870 1gb the same frames in WaW @ 1920 x 1200 4x EDGE DETECT AA and 16x AF than they are getting at 1680 x 1050 with no AA.
bah crap.
BTW guru's suggestion pwonzeros all others.

ya i once owned me dual 4850's... hate it.. lol

i'm don't like the idea of 2 lesser cards matching a stronger card...

thats no fun.. i plan on 2 monster cards.. possibly 3
