full screen wont work

hello, I need a little help from you gurus, I have a VAIO VGN-FW140E
when I go to utube to see a video or any other site like that, I can see the videos on the small inpage screen, but if try to go to full screen, it goes black and wont play, I can still hear it but the screen is black, could that be a problem or just some configuration.

sorry forgot to add: windows vista home, intel core duo P8400 2.26 Ghz
HD 1080p monitor

can you see a full screen video from one stored on your actual computer? Try that and if it doesn't work then it is probably something wrong with your video card drivers or DirectX.

If it does work then it might be something wrong with your browser. (wrong plugin's etc)

It work finewith stored videos and movies on my hard drive, only on internet vid it wont go to full screen.

Do you have KLite Codec pack installed? Are you signed up on the site? Not all sites let you use full screen unless you meet some requirements.
