Can you put DDR3 1600 in it?

Did you have to adjust the bios settings?

I think the EVGA X58 can only use a 10x memory multiplier at this time, so if you overclock your BCLK, you can run DDR3-1600, or simply downclock ur ram

the only thing i can say is that i like the gigabyte ud5, its features are great, and very nicely setup....

i heard the asus is a great board too....cant really go wrong....with evga either great company too..

veedub is the only person on here that has the EVGA X58, it is their first intel motherboard, so its a work in progress, but its feature loaded...

evga said that they would unlock the memory multipler in the next few bios's, stay tuned

I think the beta will become release in a few weeks.
That board has already had 5 bios updates.

Beta bios is running mem
at 1600 just fine. cool.
