monitor blur/sharp ?

Just stuck my new 6800 ultra in my old system ( while building the new one ) and noticed something strange

It seems like the monitor goes in and out of focus every second

you can see the effect better when looking at text.

Can't think that it can be the graphics card.

Maybe tomorrow if I've got time, I'll put my old monitor on and see if it's still the same.

Any comments on this?

i think your monitor is damaged

Yeah, its most likely the monitor. Try hooking up a different one and see if you get the same problem. I have a hard time believing it's your new card.

he said he stuck it in his old system just to see... its proll that his old system's power supply is too weak for the 6800. u know... cause the 6800 is a power hogg (i believe that would be the correct info, i dont own 1 though).

old system also 480w
Monitor looks fine now.
I did spent a lot of time in frfont of the pc, maybe my eye's are just tired
