IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers

I unistalled my both IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers and rebooted so windows would reinstall them again and it would solve my dvd burner problem (as somebody suggested) but it turned out that after the reboot xp coulnt even find the driver to install them again and they are now set as "unknown devices". I tried everythin but didnt work.

anybody could help me out I appreciate that.

check the manufactureres website for the latest drivers

oh thanks for the help, i searched days to find a IDE driver but looks like such a thing doesnt exist.
But everythin got fine when i installed SP2.
So its runnin good now.
