does that take newtons law of cooling into account though? I'm pretty sure it isn't a linear increase in temperature.

no it doesn't... its a very much simplified version of what would really happen (because i was cooked and feelin lazy) taking into account no inevitable energy loss or equilibria... we could probably compensate for that be allowing a loss of maybe 200W (or actually implementing the proper equations, but that gets complex)... any way you look at it, you're not gonna be running that rig for very long in an enclosed room with no cooling
 
Easiest way to keep a system like this cool is a small 5,000 BTU window ac unit.

Would be much cheaper and more reliable than phase.
