Outlook mail sent but not being received

I have a client who until the last day or two has been using Outlook Express
without problem, he has decided to now use Outlook 2002 and has found that
even though he can receive mail, his outbound mail displays in the sent fold
er but does not get to its destination.
I have sent mail to myself from his Outlook, that did not arrive, I also sen
t some through Outlook Express & that arrived ok.
He has a Win 98 PC & the Mail is routed through a Mail Server before leaving
his building

I had almost the same problem with my VisneticMailserver...

Sorry I don't know the answer to yer question...

Check the send and recieve paths for the mail server. Also, tell him that Outlook-Express is a low-grade buggy peice of recycle-bin filler, and to move to Outlook.
