you may have vsync on. You should be getting over 100fps.

What is the rest of your setup (ram, CPU)?

here is basically my setup

intel core 2 duo E8400 3.0 ghz
4GB DDR2 Ram
ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
EVGA 260 GTX
and Acer X223Wbd Black 22" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor
windows home premium 64 bit

you would need something 550W or over so maybe something like this

Not necessarily a good 450W will power a system and that gfx providing its got lots of amps and made by a reliable company.

true but to always be on the safe side. going with the minimum requirements of the component is usually recommended unless you can be positive.

550W PSU's can be around $50 after some mail in rebates. thats a good price
