To build or to buy with a $600 budget?

I doubt he will Crossfire or SLI but if cost of motherboards isn't to different then yeah might grab a motherboard with it. I just don't want to say hey you should spend a extra $50 on a psu and $20 on a mobo and then he never runs dual cards. That $70 could be used on a faster single card for use now.

If buying all from Newegg it comes out to $608 - $75. Was thinking about getting the motherboard, cpu, hard drive, and possibly case (depends on shipping) from ebay if they get the live.com cashback back. All those parts would actually be a tiny bit cheaper there even before the before the rebate.

Hopeing for 3.8ghz will that ram and motherboard be good enough? That would be a fsb of 380 so I doubt I will be able to tighten the timings.

Go custom built man so much more worth it and a great exp and the feeling to feel good when u finish your rig and look at it and say dam i built that.
