true the differences are almost unoticeable in everyday usage, but under benchmark conditions, the many better aspects of Intel's architectures are very obvious... especially with Core i7, the memory bandwidth is very evident... streamlined instructions too!

Also, I got a better time the second time I ran it, by about .07 seconds. I duno if it cached something or i just intimidated it into going faster but it did.

Edit: i got the same time on subsequent runs.

anybody want to tell me how he got cpu to get such a high frequency with very little voltage. Also look at his ram timings.

Well that memory isn't very fast so those timings are possible. And I suspect he got a very good vid.

but still that time he achieved with that cpu is crazy. And a super good vid, that would be a understatement. He would have to have a godly vid.

Monday my E8500, TPower i45 and Apogee GT are here and a new SuperPi champ will reign . Going to get 5GHz if it's the last thing I do.
