Sound Problems

I have this problem in many games. I have the logitech z640 speakers and sound blaster audigy gamer sound card. How come when I'm in a game and I'm looking straight at something I can't hear the sound. For example if I was looking at an enemy and he was shooting at me I will not hear his gun going off, but If I turn left or right a little bit it would come out of my right or left speaker. So its just my center speaker thats acting up. I have matrix on or else no sound comes out of center speaker period. I also have 5.1 turned on in options and eax. Anybody know whats wrong? In some games even if I turn eax on it will mess my sound up.

Do i turn that off in a game, because I dont see an option for it. If not in game where?

tru to go into your audigy card diagnostic and see if you can reconfigure your speakers.
