So many fans/heatsinks and PSUs, so little knowledge!

I read the PSU guide on the forum here, and I still did not understand it:eek:. I am looking for a good cooler and PSU for my new graphics card and processor. I am buying a AMD Phenom 8750 Toliman 2.4GHz, and hopefully one of the following cards: Sapphire ATI Radeon HD4850 (I have read that this card runs very hot?), Gigabyte nVidia GeForce 9800GT, or a Gigabyte nVidia GeForce 9600GT. I need something that will keep both powered and cool. Any suggestions? I am buying from Newegg, I am hopeing to spend $50 for eatch if that is possible!

Or the Corsair 520hx. Its a bit more, but it's modular. That means only the main power cables are permenatly attached. So you don't have extra power cables blocking your airflow.

Don't bother with the 9600.

Yea the 520hx is modular but is has 3 12v rails. The 550vx has a single 12v, and psu's with a single 12v rail tend to have more quality. Plus the 550 is a lot cheaper compared to the 520.

Unless you know a budget, cost doesn't matter too much.

I don't think i've seen a definate on multi vs single rail, but they're both very good psus, and with him worried about temps...
Modular is the ticket.

I will juggle both ideas (leaning towards the Corsair), x-mas is coming around and I actually threw some of these things on the wanted list... in between a new set of golf clubs and multiple porn site memberships hahahaha:laughing: Thanks again for your help!
