My brilliant friends forgot to put the motherboard on riser screws when powering on a computer for the first time, and called me when the computer wouldnt post.
my question is could they have damaged the motherboard or any other component by doing that?
might have shorted something out, they could be lucky and it just stopped it from posting but they will have to set it up right and see if it's toast or not.
