My cousin needs a new vid card for his laptop

Very few laptops actually have separate video cards. If it does have a video card you can replace it - but you'll have very few options to choose from.

Since this laptop has integrated graphics it is IMPOSSIBLE to upgrade the video card w/o replacing the entire system board.

Your best bet is to upgrade the RAM or CPU to enhance performance.
 
If it is intergtrated you are going to have to buy a whole new motherboard, wich can suck. Best bet is to look on ebay or a place like that for a new mobo.

A new board with a card will not fit in the stock laptop casing. Laptop cases are packed and offer little to no room.
 
If he wants new graphics, tell him to buy a new lappy. Wipe this one and put it on eBay.
