ati tool has problems with lots of nvidia drivers... its common

if ur trying to oc use evga precision tool

id just use rivatuner personally... never used evga precison, but rivatuner has just about everything you could possibly want

i find the intergrated hw monitor is really good... that way you dont have to have 20 different apps open just to see whats goin on in there

bench now.. WORRY LATER...

i'll tell you from hitting 3.8ghz on my i7 on stock cooler, i never once checked my temps.. i live my life a 1/4 mile a time.. and for those 10 seconds or less... i'm free (haha stupid fast and furious)

yeah i never check my CPU temps (cept when im pushing a load at 1.6V or so), but i've got 4850s and its gettin hot already here so they get pretty toasty at times, so i kinda like to check up on them once in a while...

You might wanna look at modding the cooling on those 4850s bongwizard. I have an acellero strapped to mine and its nice and cool.
