Some 4850 questions

I know vernong, its crazy. Since your ordering two it will run you like $26 just for the Crossfire bridges and that's not even including shipping. Do what I am doing and just add the crossfire bridges along with the rest of your order. At least the shipping and handling for individual items is cheaper then.
 
You only need 1 CF bridge, and I would try to go for the 620HX or something even more powerful.

At stock it should all work but should you want to overclock the 4850s you might run into some problems.
 
I would have thought the 550vx would be enough power, it has a single 41A 12v rail which is quite a bit better than most other psu's in its class.
 
Well I am pretty fickle and I have decided to hold off on pc upgrades until after Christmas. My rig maxes out fallout 3 and can get 13k 3dmark. Instead I have decided to put my cash towards an acoustic guitar. This is something I have been putting off for a long time now. And with the family discount I get I can get me an Epiphone masterbuilt.
