The G11 and Saitek Eclipse are both good choices. G15 v2 is the best keyboard on the market however. Surprisingly the LCD screen helps me with a lot of different tasks other than gaming too.

hmm well my steam profile says i game for over 51.5 hours in the past two weeks and I also use the computer to do all my homework. So you are sure the saitek's keys wont wear out fast?

Yes. I spend all day after work on my computer, and have had it for ~6 months now..still fine. There's just a scratch of paint off on the space bar key where my fingernail rubs all the time, and on the bottom corner of the E key.

also is it true that you have to push the spacebar in the dead center for it to work?

Not for me... I can press either side and it works. Somebody could have just gotten a lemon.

As long as the metal bar underneath the space bar is in tact it will work fine. My parents have had the eclipse for over a year now and it still works perfect.

It's decent. The keys have more of a laptop feel if you're okay with that.
