What setup for 24" at 1920x1200?

What's really needed to run games on this puppy?

Does it need 2 x gtx260 on SLI mobo?
Seems like it so far..... But I am noob..
Would like it to match xbox360 or better..

What parts need upgrading in my setup?
Or lay one out from scratch..

P5Q, Q9300, 4gb800, gtx260
( can give gtx260 back to my brother )
( can use rest in 2nd pc )

I ran a 8800gts 512 on that res w/ 40 fps so I think a single card is fine. Either the 4870 or gtx260.

if you get a gtx 260 you should try and get a 216sp version they can be overclocked to meet gtx280 performance.

2gb x 2 DDR2 800
500gb x 2 in RAID1
650w PSU
GTX 260
SB X-Fi
Vista 64

24" 1920x1200

Anything jump out as a problem?

Any suggestions or ideas?

4870 and your set. I only got the 512mb version and im running a 24" widescreen and 1900x1200 res. All my games are max settings and full AA and such. Only game that isnt is crysis but then again, who can run that game maxed out and get high fps?

Do you really need the sound card? If not you can drop that and upgrade the processor to a Q9550, if not get a E8400/8500/8600, those will overclock high as ****

People say that the 4780 is great.
I am still considering the q9550.

The sound card was for fun.
It does sound pretty good.

I can't stand onboard so a sound card is a must

The 260 is enough for 1920x1200. The nice thing about that resolution on a 24" monitor is that you dont REALLY need to turn on AA due to the pixel density being pretty good. The 4870 and 260 are pretty much on par with each other.
