80 bucks i think guru.
yes hussein, it is a good idea. you can even partition out on of your hdds for the same purpose. for instance, i have a 50gb partition on one 160gb drive for the OS, use the rest of that one for miscellaneous stuff, swap file, pictures, driver files etc. and i use my second 160gb for games only. i need another 160. or i may buy a 640.
definitely will be gettin an ssd for OS once nos reports back success.

AND LOOKY HERE...
Newegg.com - OCZ Core Series V2 OCZSSD2-2C30G 2.5" 30GB SATA II & Mini USB 2.0 Port Internal Solid state disk (SSD) - Solid State Disks

50 bucks after MIR for 30gb...

not too much, but some of them (particulary the Core series) gets complaints about stuttering (this is mainly just people's systems not being fully compatible ie cant handle to data transfer speeds), and even a small cache (4MB would probably do it for even the oldest sata supporting systems) would alleviate this problem... also, i believe OCZ is working on a firmware fix for this problem, but it will be a complex process, so it might be a while before they actually release it... either way, any of our systems would run a Core SSD without noticeable stutter

thats not the ocz ssd i got right there.. here is mine

i have a solid series... not a core
