How big PSU do I need for this build?

Thanks for the help guys. As soon as I get a few extra bones I'll check it out and see if that is the problem or not. If it's not that I'll know that it is the mobo.

I bought this, and know for a fact that it has enough power to power everthing that i need. It's 750 watt corsair with 60amp to the 12v

going to be pretty upset if this doesn't fix it lol

well, on the bright side, even if it doesnt that is one heck of a psu.

Yeah it's one heck of a power supply... but it didn't work. I'm still having the problem with the graphics not being sent to my monitor (through PCI-e or PCI based video cards) and my harddrive only works when the CD ROM is not connected... anyone know any other alternatives? This is driving me crazy.

Have you tried a different IDE cable?

It could be the IDE cable, sometimes they go wonky. Otherwise, I'd have to say it's the motherboard.
