error message with SP2 installation.

Hello. After downloading the SP2 update, I get an error message when trying to open the file. .."......\SP2\WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe , . ,is not a valid Win 32 application. Anyone know what this actually means (i gather the last part of the error msg.is the most self-explaining) , and can i still install the update from here ?

check to see if you are under ntfs or Fat32..?

When I try to open that file it tells me that the file is corrupt. I've downloaded it several times.

NTFS Senesis. ..yeah i downloaded from microsoft (www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechno/winxppro/sp2preview.mspx ).not likely to be a corrupted file you'd think.

i wouldnt download it yet, especially if ur pc is working fine. No need to screw it up with microsofts SPs.
