keyboard problem

Hi friend in forum, Iam just a pc beginner and have an Accer 1 year old with vista. Now my keyboard can't be used with this machine but ok with other. I tried many keyboards includding new one which support vista but still no work. USB connector ok, keyboarbs ok (lights on keyboard means it connected with pc), nothing wrong in the control panel. These keyboards work well with other machines. Anyone can tell and help me fix this problem plz

Do you plug in the keyboard before you turn on the PC?

Sure Mak213, I tried many ways
...Including connect it before and after the pc is turned on
...buy new one
...used the one working from my friend
...bring the original one to test with other machine
all keyboards work well with any other but not mine. (when connected to my pc, the light on keyboard is ON

Sounds like the connections for the mother board are dead. Have you tried a PS2 keyborad instead of a USB keyboard?
