3rd, i can get 3.8 MAYBE 3.9 i havent juiced it as high as possible. it runs 3.6 on really low voltage though and and 3.75 on a little more, so im pretty happy with that.

all depends on the board with that one really... with the GA P45s i've gotten up to 511FSB (not stable, but it booted) and 498FSB (stable, but with scary temps)... so you can probably get to about 3.85-3.95GHz with a q9450, but thats really pushin it... i personally wouldn't trade your 8600 for it... i'd want a 9550 for it

I would love to get my hands on a 9550 but we'll see if someone is willing to trade me.
It would be nice to run 4ghz on a quad. If I can't get that then I don't want to trade
