Overclocking help

Does anybody have a guide I could follow, my last motherboard had performance options I could choose like 10-50% increase.

This new board has a bunch of stuff under the overclock section, like timing and voltage not sure what to do.

Thanks for the guide.

I followed the guide the best i could but some of the options i didn't have, like
Pci clock Sync
and i couldn't find where to enter my own vcore.


Does this look normal?

Yeah that looks ok. I don't have any experience with asus motherboards so I'm not sure how to adjust the vcore but someone else may be able to help you with that.

cool, should i dig around in my bios and try to lower my vcore or is it fine to run it as is?

it is fine to run it as it is. you can always raise/lower it as you progress.

Don't think you can as your Vid is 1.31 and your reported vcore is 1.38.

man im not likin the looks of those temps (they're not dangerous yet... but they'll get there pretty quick)... what kinda cooler and paste have you got? if you're still running with a stock cooler, stop right there... you can go further when you get an aftermarket cooler, but to save your chip from damage, dont go too much further on stock cooling

Should I reset my bios?
I ran that burn in 2008 for 10min and the temps stayed the same for pretty much the whole time.

also i ran the stress test feature overnight
