Question About GTX 260

well this POS pentium d gets me a solid 30fps in crysis on high at 1680x1050. so i'm more that surprised that it'll do that much. and i have overclocked it to 3.77ghz

That's because the Crysis engine is very GPU intesive and doesn't rely on the CPU much at all.

I got the XFX Black Edition....which is the fastest GTX 260.....i think it is anyway...and it is core 216

Thought evga was the only one pumping out 216 shader cards.

there's accually quite a few companys making core 216 versions. these are all core 216 version.

i thought it wasnt a gtx 260 core 216 for a minute then i looked in the specs, 216 stream processing cores of goodness good choice, great card

gtx260 is by far better than 9800gtx+

and hey, i had my core 192 clocked at 767/1500/2100 for 24/7 and that thing flew!!! everything it plays flawlessly.... fallout 3 full quality 12xAA .. or was it AF??? i dont' remember which the game used in the menu... never stuttered no lag!!!

you'll love the gtx260.. i promise.. it is a **** of a card
