how many cpu's have u owned guru? i wonder if it is as big as my gpu list.. lol which i need to update

2x 6800gs, 2x 6800 vanilla, 2x 7900gt, 7300gt, 8800gts 640, 3x 8800gtx, 8800gts 512, x1950xtx, x1950pro, x1900xtx, 1900xt, 2900pro, 8600gts 512, gtx 280, gtx260 x2, 2x x300, 8800gt, 9800gx2, 2x 4850

27 gpu's in 2 and a half years

I lost exact count long ago...I think around 8 E6xxx chips, 15 wolfies I think including these next two coming, and about 13 quads including a QX6850, QX9650, and the Q9650

My favorites are probably the Q9650, E8xxx....anything below 4.2-4.3ghz is just disappointing for me now...especially with the 4.7ghz e8600 I had a few weeks ago. This E7200 aint cuttin it!

i got the e7200 up to 4ghz on air, you should be able to hit 4.2/4.3 on water man!

updated to 27 gpu's.. i forgot my 4850's i owned... lol

my cpu list is nothing compared to yours!!!

and thats only from kentsfield up huh?? what about conroes and amd chips!!

Conroes are the first I listed..the E6xxx chips.

And yeah I had a 3200+, 3700+, 4400x2 for my AMD chips. They were pretty sweet at the time.

and my gpu list isn't too shabby either but it pales in comparison with your list...I would swap around more these days but like I said the loss is too much for me.

just wondering, what did you do with all the chips you have/had? sell them or do you have a computer for each one? lol

i sell them on forums or the bay trying to lose as little as possible. I usually never buy a cpu unless I know I can at least break even on reselling it.

that is the name of the game. buy it, bench it, sell it. Or if your like me you never get to bench it which totally defeats the purpose
