Making PDFs

I have some really big MS-Word documents (text and color images) which I want made into PDFs (with the pictures still in color!).

What's the best way to do this?

PS - "really big MS-Word documents" means 160 pages+

You might try using Open Office. It has the ability to open / save in .doc format and save in .pdf format.

oh, and it's free... as opposed to Adobe Acrobat, which isn't.

I'll hook it up if you want, it doesn't take a long time to convert a .doc to a .pdf (I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0) if you're interested.

No, it won't take long. I just converted a 700+ page database schematic and it probably took about 5-10 minutes.
I'd also take a closer look at OpenOffice though.
