I was just online with Micro Center to buy a Builders Copy of Vista when I ran into a problem. They advertise three different versions of Vista Premium and I don't no which one to get. I'm building a medium priced PC with a GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard & E8400 CPU. As you can see, it's a moderate build. So what software should I be using? They have the following advertised, and except for the 64-bit or 32-bit they all seem about the same:

Microsoft Vista Home Premium DVD System Builder Single Pack
Microsoft OEM
SKU: 805051
UPC: 882224347716
Mfr Part Number: 66I-00715 $89.00

Windows Vista Home Premium 32-Bit with SP1 System Builder Version
Microsoft OEM
SKU: 792036
UPC: 882224644778
Mfr Part Number: OEMVISP132HP1PK $89.00

Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-bit English System Builder Single Pack DVD
Microsoft OEM
SKU: 792010
UPC: 882224641944
Mfr Part Number: OEMVISP164HP1PK $79.00

Go for the 64bit version. Before you know it, everything is going to be designed for 64bit from the start and in order to try and future proof your system then 64bit is the better way to go IMO. Also try for the ultimate edition. Its just simply better. Or if you can hold of if you already have something, mid next year windows 7 will be comming out. You can hold off untill then and get the latest and greatest.
