Re: Tech Forums Official SuperPi 1M Top List

ha, aha,

what do u mean OWNING

thats like a 180~ Milisecond difference=)

OWNING would be 3 seconds.

Either way we all know its cause im using 512x2 cache, and the opteron has 1mbx2

BY the way Hussein---

Nice time, you'll get 28s if you tweak it a bit (im not talking about overclocking, you can get it just by closing EVERYTHING, and running superpi in "realtime")

Then run the test about 15-20 times, somtimes for no reason it will get a better time

Re: Tech Forums Official SuperPi 1M Top List

i'd consider me being .4ghz less and on socket 939 enough to be "owning"

hoho, you guys got alot to learn ;)

Re: Tech Forums Official SuperPi 1M Top List

super pi is all about memory and getting rid of as many processes as possible

push control alt delete and turn off everythingyou don't need... imean everything

then right click on Spi.exe and turn it to real time

and memory, memory is important, you have to have some fast memory... iwas running ddr500 was super low timings (s939 obviously)

so you'd probably need some 1066 equivalent with tight timings

Re: Tech Forums Official SuperPi 1M Top List

thats why you people = fail

you guys are relying on your stupid highmultiplyers

howaboutyou guys try a 9 multi like i did on my opteron 146... you'll get much better results through bus overclocking, rather than stupid multi overclocking

shame on you guys..250 bus... lol... **** ON YOU..

for shame!!!

NOSBOOST300 = DISAPPOINTED

Re: Tech Forums Official SuperPi 1M Top List

lol I got a normal chip, so I can't up the multi even if I wanted to. I lowered my HT to 800mhz and over clocked that way, along with lowering ram speeds and tightening the timings. Now to sit back and watch Nagasama eat his own hat.

Re: Tech Forums Official SuperPi 1M Top List

That will slaughter every pc here, except for AP4's.

Miraculous you could fit DDR3 ram, Core i7, an X58 mother board, and a 4870X2 in that budget. For the price, its definitely worth it.
