Will my PSU handle Crossfire 4830's?

It'll be cheaper than i7 in the US and in Australia. And that's not counting boards or RAM.

And I'm not sure how far i7 will realistically overclock. I have a feeling Deneb might actually be better in that area.

What Deneb model will be as fast as the 920 and cost less?

AP4LIFETN already hit 4.1ghz on his i7 920 with stock cooling so it overclocks every bit as good as the reviews have shown.

It won't be as fast (except perhaps in gaming), but it'll cost less.

I don't know anybody who's claiming that.

deneb will compete with core 2... and its too late for that...

Because clearly, everybody is going to want to buy the most expensive parts.

i7 just started today officially, and is only 329 for the cheapest... and will only get cheaper

we all went through this already before with core 2 duo... being sooooo expensive... and now look...

I do wonder how much of i7's performance is because of architectural changes, and how much of it is because of HyperThreading.

Do games use HT technology, because I heard the i7 wasn't good for gaming, as like a dualcore, or quadcore.

Those were old benchmarks. The new one show that it is far faster than anything else.
