I dont need both do I? one for the GPU? A cooler is the same as a heatsink? or does the cooler replace the heatsink?

SLI ready RAM is just a gimmick.. it will work fine together

Just ignore the sli thing on the memory. It just means it compatible with some feature on nvidia motherboards and has nothing to do with sli or crossfire.

Vista isn't going to go under and sp1 doesn't install xp. That blog is either a joke or the writer has no clue what they are talking about.

I have been running vista for a while now and like it much better than I ever did xp.
