well, i have 800 pounds to spend on a computer and i was just wondering if you could help me.

Hard-drive, 500gb or more
CD-drive
operating system
gfx card
CPU
motherboard
PSU
and a case

Nick, will the antec nine hundred cool just as good as the antec p182?

And would it be better if i went with an e8500/e8600 and overclocked it?

I'm a bit out of the loop with cases, I've always liked the p182 and heard it's better for management and organisation. As with the CPU the e8500/e8600 may not quite match the q6700 on stock, as with overclocking I'm sure they may almost match it on speed.

I think so, I personally would go for the quad becuase it's a quad, you may want someone elses input however.

I vote for saltynays build. Try getting a cheaper used E8400 or E8500 off the bay or something though
