First of all i want to say i have never encountered a modern board like this one. It has dipswitches and jumpers. It has pci express and agp as well as pci slots. When i boot the computer up i get a hard ware power management error. When i look in the bios as it suggests i see something called v-core voltage which is spiking consistently to 3.75 volts? What does this mean and what can i do about it?

wow man. That voltage can fry the cpu instantly. Go into BIOS and find the overclocking menu. See if you can force the Core voltage down to something safer, like 1.2 volts. The pmu may be dead on this board, which would explain why the voltage is spiking.

i wouldn't risk it...i would just reset the cmos....that kind of voltage will kill you fast
