Blurry/Pixly Screen.

Hello, first time registred member here.

So here it goes, recently my brother gave me this old HP from 2002 (With Windows XP). For a 6 year old computer it still works like a charm.

Althougt, there is ONE problem. The screen or rather the pixels, are rather messed up. I can barelly read any text with messed up picture. I've tried evrything from updating my drivers to changing monitor (tried 2 diffrent monitors, same result on both of them.)

Why is this? Is there anything I can do?

Have you changed video cards? IMO it is the video card.

No, I Haven't changed the video card.

I susspected it was a video card malfunction thougt.


So it seems I dont have many option except replacing it?

Correct. You could turn down the hrtz on the monitor (in display settings) but i doubt that will fix the issue.

That normally appears when the video card memory has gone bad, and theres really no other solution but to replace it.

Lex ans Ste are right. There is no other option. Jsut as there is no reason to bump your topic after 10 minutes.

Sorry mate. Gonna have to replace the card.
